I can't believe that 2022 is almost over!?!
Festive time!
When Autumn comes to an end, mornings become more chilly, the sun is shining once a week and the snow covers the ground while lights twinkle from house to house, you know Christmas is coming. And it's the most wonderful time of the year.
how you can present a festive theme
table scene
Christmas time it's family time. Family members gather around the table, enjoy the food and spend precious time together. Even if you can't show the whole table, you can always capture 2-3 setups (photo on the left) or only one, with someone sitting by the table. Be creative, you really don't need a big space to show a table scene.
drinks
You can create a festive photo with a glass of Prosecco, mulled wine or even with a glass of orange juice. You don't need a lot to prepare a festive scene. Add some twinkles, cranberries or Christmas decorations and there's is a festive drink photo.
savoury food
One of the most important meals is Christmas dinner. Each country, religion and family celebrate this day differently and with different food on the table. Regardless of where you are and what your tradition is, a savoury meal will be on your table, from roasted beef and turkey to fried fish and beetroot soup.
cakes and cookies
Time for sweet treats. Simple cheesecake can be festive. You can add some cranberries and rosemary stem and dust the cake with icing sugar. These simple elements will create a festive mood right away. Christmas decorations, lights and candles will always add festive spirit to your photographs.
Doesn't matter if you create a scene with your home-baked biscuits, gingerbread cookies or with bought in-store cookies, the goal is to achieve festive vibes. Remember about festive colours, such as green, red and gold, lights, ribbons and decorations.
fruits, nuts and spices
Some of the fresh produce such as nuts, tangerines, oranges, cranberries, cinnamon sticks or star anises can evoke Christmas feel almost instantly. Creating a scene with these food elements should be fairly easy and the photos would reflect the Christmas festive mood.
